give time and energy to work with us and the park department. We will
provide the items for new garden sites. |
| Interpreters - We would like to have the facilities open to the
public at least on week-ends if not more often. Currently "by
appointment only" is the only way for the public/groups/schools to visit.
Scheduled times would be helpful. |
| Data entry - someone willing to enter inventory items in a data
base, scan pictures for the data base and help keep the newly acquired
inventory current for insurance purposes. |
| Website page entry - scan news articles, enter stories written by
local people, copy government documents for historical preservation. The
website is intended to be an active resource for those interested in Clive
History and information. Geared for the students and general public. |
| Help organize a special event. Open house, Holiday Tour, Old
Timers Reunion, Ice Cream Social, Garden Party, Railroad Reunion, etc. |
| Artifact Research Committee - Search out items to be shown. |
| Artifact Restoration Committee - help restore items currently
needing help. |
| Promotion of the Historical Society and associated facilities. |
| Promotional Brick Sales for the Memory Walk |
| And there are other areas that could use assistance. |
