One more goal was reached with the visitation of Crestview School's First Grade & Fifth Grade students.  Six classes totaling more than 150 students and teachers  visited the Historical Society's three historical sites, the Depot, the Caboose and General Store. Each grade brought three classes of approximately 25 in each class.
Each class visited one site and simultaneously  rotated in order to visit each location.  The fifth grade asked questions that were posted to this website and each location had a hands on activity that the children participated in. 

For us this was also a learning experience in group interpretation.  We welcomed them  and will continue to look forward to many years of joint activities with Crestview and the other schools of our community.
